Subject: 1997 Woodstock Reunion Update
We have all the information. We have the Max Yasgur Farm. Not the field
where the festival took place, too much political controversy. Last year
when the people arrived the police wouldn't let them on the field. So, Roy
Howard and I (we had the stage and speakers from the freedomfest of '95, long
story how that happened) and when it became obvious that we couldn't move
the equipment onto the field we set everything up on our field. We did the
whole thing with 2 days prep. and 8,000 people showed up and it was great.
The NY Times interviewed us and everything. The politicians are still arguing
over whether or not the thing exists, Sullivan County is going broke, the
people want to come back and we want to continue to host the miracle
anniversary for as long as the people want to come here. We have a large
barn which we are fixing up for small (400 people) events leading up to the
anniversary date. That should be ready soon. My Web Page is coming with a
calendar of events. We will only ask for a small donation from people for
parking. This will be used to cover the expenses related to putting on the
event. We are not looking for profits at the anniversary. We just want to
