We are local people, not investors from some large corporation. We know all the players and most of their agendas. They can't do anything to stop us now. The county is in bankruptcy. If "The man" tries to interfere, the business community, of which we are a member, will have a virtual revolution. By the way, last year we did not apply for a single permit. Guess what, they tried to fine us for not having permission and guess what, they couldn't find a law on the books that we broke, and believe me they looked.
They also can't stop us from inviting our guests to our private property. Last year was the first time since '69 that the event took place with the land owners permission. We had (Unofficially, since the mass gathering law is 5,000) between 6,000 - 8,000 people show up. We put the whole thing together in 2 days. There is nothing stopping us now. Even the State Police are on our side.

We are also fixing up Max's Barn for small (400 - 500 people) events throughout
the season. Should be open by May or early June.
