WOODSTOCK GALLERY
Deja Vu Wing
Room 2

That's right, we've had to expand this wing to accommodate all of the new pictures that you have sent to us.

Here's some photos from our files. The first one is of Filipini's Pond. It was made famous for the skinny-dipping scenes in the movie. Mother Nature has kept it beautiful. (Even with the expensive homes that now sit on it's banks.).

This is the general store on 17B by the Woodstock site. Still looks like it did in 1969.

Pete Karas (WdStoc1969@aol.com). sent us a couple of pictures of the woodstock site that he took during a visit in July, 1997.

I noticed not too many people photograph the lake when they visit, just the actual site of the festival. Although it can be seen in the distance in my other photograph, this close up reveals why one would want to bath in it.

This is a shot from the top of the site looking toward Filipini Pond, which you can see in the distance. Pete wrote, "It was a very pretty day and the photograph reflects that. I already made a 8 x 10 of it and put it on my desk at work. When the stresses of the day catch up to me, all I need to do is look at the picture for a dose of sanity."

Reunion 1994, Sunday morning close to in front of the stage.

Bethel 94. I went with my girlfriend, soon to be my wife, Cindy. Arriving at Bethel on Thursday, August 12, we were amazed when we saw so many people there, especially since the Reunion concert was formally cancelled. We left Friday morning to go to 'Woodtock 94' (in Saugerties) since we had tickets for that. It was hard to leave Bethel. We left 'Woodstock 94' Saturday afternoon to return to Bethel. There was a much larger crowd on Sunday than there had been on Thursday when we left. Thank God the port-a-pot's made it!!

This is photo of me and my wife, Cindy, along with Richie in 1995. After the photo, he signed my 1969 Woodstock ticket, "A Friend, Richie Havens". He had just pulled up and no one knew it was him. I went up to talk to him while he got things from the back of his car. It was soon after that he was recognized and people flocked around him. He talked to all. He is truly a wonderful person...very kind and loved to talk about Woodstock.

Carol Losee (Peekaboo@warwick.net) had a couple of shots that she sent us.

My husband and I celebrated our 15th Wedding Anniversary at the ORIGINAL SITE. It was such a good picture we had it enlarged and framed. Today it hangs on our living room wall. The WOODSTOCK MEMORY lives on!

Couldn't make the 69' Woodstock. I'd just had my first child and my Mom wouldn't babysit. But guess what? I did make Woodstock's 25th Anniversary and brought my 25 year old daughter and showed her kind of what I missed out on 25 years ago. I can't describe the feeling I got when I was there.

Deadhead Steve (deadhead@mhv.net) has alot more Woodstock photos on his Dead Phish site. (See CyberSpace Hippies Links)

Dad and daughter at the 20th Reunion in matching Deadheadbands!!

This was taken early in the morning. By afternoon, this was completely filled with people.

Mark D. McGothigan (mcgmgb@pop.erols.com) had one for the gallery.

This is Ricki Hendrix -- Jimi's 3rd cousin
performing at this year's reunion.

Bonnie Lengyel ("bonnie girard"@snet.net) was there.
